Sustainability
Luxury and responsibility aren't opposites. Here's how we're building a more intentional brand.
Responsible Materials
We prioritise fabrics certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and OEKO-TEX®. Our silks and satins are sourced from suppliers committed to reduced water usage and chemical-free dyeing processes. We are actively transitioning our lace and elastic trims to recycled alternatives by 2027.
Ethical Manufacturing
Every Velour piece is produced in small-batch facilities that are independently audited for fair wages, safe working conditions, and workers' rights. We visit our manufacturing partners annually and publish our audit results.
Packaging
Our packaging is made from recycled and FSC-certified materials. Tissue paper, ribbon, and mailer bags are all plastic-free. Our gift boxes are reusable by design we encourage you to keep them.
Carbon Footprint
We offset 100% of our shipping emissions through verified reforestation projects. We are working toward a science-based emissions reduction target for our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2026.
Longevity by Design
The most sustainable garment is one you wear for years. We design Velour pieces to be timeless, durable, and repaired rather than replaced. We offer free care consultations and, where possible, repair services for damage or wear.
